Billed monthly at 1/10th of an hour in 6-minute increments.
An initial consultation is provided free of charge.
Phone calls, emails, and texts billed at hourly rate.
Travel outside of San Diego County billed at regular hourly rate.
No fees for office supplies apart from extraordinary expenses (courier services, certified mail, extensive photocopying, etc.).
Payment for probate administration is based on estate value:
4% of the first $100,000
3% of the next $100,000
2% of the next $800,000
1% of the next $9,000,000
0.5% of the next $15,000,000
The court determines fees for estates over $25,000,000, plus any extraordinary services provided by the fiduciary (i.e. sale of real estate, litigation, etc.).
